My facials are always personalized to what the client needs at the time. On the back bar, at any time, I have at my fingertips at least 6 cleansers to chose from, 10 masks, 8 serums and 11 finishing creams, a sunscreen of SPF 30, plus skin balancers (previously called toners).
I also offer mild peels with glycolic and salicylic acid, and institute treatments such as revitalizing for tired eyes, intense moisturizing and back facials. I support the benefits of my treatments with retail of Sothys USA, Glymed, Tend Skin, and Kinesys sunscreen.
PROFESSIONAL PRODUCTS
Sothys USA, in spite of its name, is a French based company which has been in business for more than 60 years. It owns its own labs and I recently found out that they also grow some of their ingredients for quality control. Sothys products are up to the latest innovations but gentle and supportive of skin ultimate functions. Its acne repair cream (to name only one product) is among some of its most outstanding products and has not been matched in more than 12 years.
Glymed is well known for its aggressive approach to skin problems such as acne. Like Sothys, the company is at the forefront of skin care technology.
Tend Skin, a boon to those in need of waxing. It helps with redness, with ingrown hair prevention and to make the removal of hair less painful.
Kinesys, with an SPF of 30 is a sport sunscreen, oil free, water and sweat resistant. Mango scented or unscented, in spray bottles.
Although my practice is mostly directed towards women, I do offer men much of the same treatments. For those “liberated” men not intimidated by a feminine setting, there is waxing of back and/or chest for a well-groomed, buff look. Not for the faint of heart, but well worth it according to testimonies both of the men and their significant ones. I always recommend using Tend Skin for at least a week, twice a day, before coming in.
